Glass sculptures place amongst different kinds of cactus at the Phoenix Botanical Garden. Can you imagine the effort to place them there?

Thank you!!! I apologize for the oversight...I could not think of the artist's name when I uploaded the picture... <<>>. He does amazing glass sculptures and had an exhibit in Colorado Springs not too long ago. No harm or slight to the artist intended...

It makes for a very interesting and colorful effect, doesn't even look like glass.

I've never seen a cactus fire until now. Very interesting. I did a double take to see what the bright red "plants" were. It looks like a "snake plant" growing in the cactus patch, only red instead of green.
I would think that they put them there using a rolling scaffold.

How interesting. I'd never have known it was glass had you not told me. Love the orange/red.

This is fantastic! I can't imagine putting them there unless the were planted at the same time as the cacti. They look really lovely and vibrant. I think if they were here in our botanical gardens some fool vandal would smash them. (A series of marble statues were attacked and damaged. They went away for a while, but have been repaired and now back on display.)
