 Wow. Thank you everybody for the votes. I really did not expect this to ribbon as the score really was not in that region for it.

As far as the comp goes I did go out on a limb with the central placement of the tree, but for this scene I believe it works. One can never plan a shot like this but luck has once again been good to me. For the luck unfortunately it takes hours in the field and lots of planning. It is worth it however. :)

Another excellent shot Rian. Your processing on these shots is getting a lot better. I like the way the green grass offsets the brightness of the lightning bolt. A super finish in a Free Study and well deserved!
