The scene is beautiful. Hmm, I seem to be in much the same camp as other commenters. I love the sky and the reflections in the water. The lone canoe adds visual interest. The super saturation on the trees to the far left and mayhap perhaps the red component in on the shore is a bit overwhelming to the scene. It just doesn't seem to sit well with the blue sky and blue water with the HDR works well. Hmmm, have you tried converting this to a B&W to see if the dynamic tones work better in that format? |

Maybe you couldn't quite get what you wanted, but I still think it is quite beautiful. |

this really lacks the edge that im used to in your photos i think thats why it caught me off guard so much. to me, the flattening effect of the HDR and the minor underexposure dont quite make this on on par with the rest of your photos. on the other hand the amount of color contrast makes it almost look like a painting.

Beautiful scene though. Love the reflection of the clouds and the lone rusted canoe.
I agree with your assessment. The clouds have some decent pop and the glassiness of the water is beautiful. The foreground is on the left is a little flat though... or at least doesn't live up the extremely high bar that you usually achieve 99% of the time. |

I like how the boat looks, quite rustic, and the red rocks. |
