Shot in San Diego while waiting for my sons to get out of Comic-con. No tri-pod. Just cropped and converted to b/w with cannel mixer. Reminds me of an "Escher" drawing. Hard to tell if you're looking up at or down at the apartment building.

That looks familiar! (latest Shapes II challenge- you linked in your comment). I used a little more contrast and also some perspective correction (not sure if that is allowed in basic editing, but I didn't use it that much). It is a very graphic building. I have seen pictures on DP of several places I recognize. San Diego is a great place for photographs. So far they are rating it about the same- at about 5.9 now. Nice job on yours too!

Just want you to know this image shows good seeing and excellent composition, and I hope you are doing well with it.

I think that even more contrast would have made this even more striking. But I couldn't be more of a novice, so take it with a pillar of salt...

Nice picture, great title!

I'd like to see this a bit more sharpened, but I really like the concept otherwise!

this is an interesting shot, but i'm having a hard time stretching it to 'everyday objects'. on the other hand, it's a welcome break from pictures of remotes and keychains (no offense to any of those photographers intended--there were some really great images of remotes and keychains). heck, i'm feeling generous, i'll score this a

Wow! This is like one of those drawings that hurts your eyes to look at, that seems to move and shift perspective as you watch it. Great job.

The title sells this one for sure... I am getting dizzy staring at it... it works as a solid piece as well as a solution for this competition.
