Picture of a living and breathing butterfly. this is my first EVER picture of an insect, so appreciating it's cliched for a macro challenge (bound to do badly, i predict), i'm so chuffed with myself i decided to enter it anyway. it was this or an old tap (faucet) so it wasn't exactly a difficult decision.

Hahaa. I know him. I've shot him before too. Light's a bit bright and has caused hot spots. Stopping down would help this or using a polariser.

Boy, the lighting on that leaf is over powering

A little overexposed.

Nice moth. It looks to me like the leaf and parts of the moth are a little over exposed. Pretty good macro shot though.

Good composition, colors and lighting. Focus needs some work. I can't really find anything sharply focused. Maybe a bit more USM would have helped.

Nice macro, you captured some good detail in the buttefly. This shot is a bit overexposed though.

Excellent specimen but terrible lighting. The bright green at the top really detracts, as do the other bight areas.
