 My hiking partner Alex stepping carefully through a flooded underground tunnel below Highway 406 near Thorold, Ontario, along the southern portion of the Bruce Trail. Here is a Streetview look at a grate at the top of the tunnel, visible in the photo.

Alex' posture reminded me of that slouchy Yeats poem, hence the title.

I got thoroughly distracted from DPC and things photographic for a good while, so I'm just seeing this photo for the first time now. I fave'd it last night. The more I look at it the more I really like it. The perspective, the grunge, the extreme dynamic contrast in the scene, I really love the color tones as well. It reminds me of an inked story board panel for a modern comic book of sorts. Very intriguing.

Probably the best I've seen so far. Love the slight tilt. Very graphic with perfect contrasts. You cannot go wrong with a silhouette.

Love this image! Very creepy. Reminds me of the video game Resident Evil. I love the way you took this challenge and made it artistic instead of thinking you should try to capture everyday life just because it's a camera phone.
