 First I thought about what is seen a lot on DPC and I thought of water drops and wineglasses. Then I tried to think of a way to make something that some people say is seen too often into something DPC has never seen. I didn't know if I could pull this one off, but everything seemed to come together pretty well.

Here is how I did it:
first I photographed the landscape I wanted an area with some clear space and the mountains for a background

Next was the wine glass, I photographed it outside so that the mountains and the sky were reflected in it so it would be somewhat believable. I had my daughter drop a rock in it to make the splash, later I cloned out the rock.

Now for the ladder. I photographed it leaning against the house and had two of my girls climbing it. I wish the light was better but you have to lean the ladder against something and so the light doesn't hit their face like I wanted it too.

The last thing I photographed was my daughter in the tub laying sideways under the water. I was worried it wouldn't look realistic but it ended up being pretty good.

I wanted it to look sort of like a fantasy world so I went heavy on the topaz simplify and used the liquefy tool to finish things up.

I spent a lot of time on this one, hoping to do well. I guess we will see.

Ok, I have been inspired by all the great works in this challenge, and I have been leaving story/poems as comments on some of them. This one deserves that as well. I didn't enter, so this was my way of inserting some creative energy.

Hours and hours of fun in the sun. Flowers and flowers as far as the eye can see, but no sign of a single bee. We kids borrowed my fathers glass and ladder, hoping he would not become madder. Climbing, laughing, jumping, over and over again, till the sun shone no more. Tomorrow a new day will begin again, what new wonders will be waiting for us kids to explore?
