| challenge met. interesting idea. i like all the different snow/ice chips and then just the frozen leaf. you got a very good color for your snow/ice, white, but not blown out. personally, i would've cropped this as a landscape around the leaf to give it more prominence in the photo. i also don't really like your frame, there's nothing black in the photo, so the black frame is a little stark in my opinion. it also seems to be wider at the top and bottom, which i find distracting (unless it's wider at the bottom and you have text in it, i do that a lot). for the challenges here, even width all around works better IMO. |

| Interesting image. The little splash of colour is nice. The border seems overbearing though, especially the thickness at the top and bottom. |

| Excelent focus and clarity. I really like how it's all white except the leaf. The small splash of color is very nice. I like the placement of the leaf within the photo. I like the composition very much. Lighting conditions are just perfect. Great find. Good luck in the challenge. |

| Interesting piece. I'm not crazy about your framing, but I don't count that as part of the pic (it's too long at the bottom and top or not wide enough on the sides) I really like how brightly colored the leaf seems. 8 Swash |

| Beautiful Photo! Perfect balance between the bright whites and the dark shadows, no washout and plenty of detail in the shadows. the splash of color makes it perfect! |

| Exceptional composition, very well seen. The detail of the sadows is extremely well preserved and the colour of the frozen leaf is perfct. Elements of the image are positions preciecly to create a mood of a cold winter and perseverance of life (the colour of the leaf, says this well). Excellent, excellent work, congrats! |

| I like the red. The shot could be slightly crisper overall, and the border should have been the same size all around (it's a bit bigger on the bottom than it is on the top). I do like hte layout the size is very fitting. |
