all the comments about border?

Makes me wonder, did you ever see an issue of NatGeo?

I was camping in KY, this is what was outside my tent in the early morning. 12-24mm was what I had on my camera at that moment.

THis is very cute, and the reindeer is really sharp, but please don't use that yellow border again, it's distracting. Nevertheless, nice shot.

This UWA shot of the deer does make for an unusual and not oft seen perspective, when traditionally a prime 3/4/5/600mm or high quality zoom is used to shoot animals. It shows the animal clearly, in soft light and the smallish aperture big DOF allows the viewer to see more of the animals environment. I'm not sure it is engaging enough for publication, and this decision rests on the publishers brief to the tog and the relevance to the text. 50/50?

Fun angle :-) Plenty of detail and context; I can see this accompanying a magazine article.

This is a great picture with a very distracting border. Because I appreciate this truly awesome picture, I want you to know I'm not letting the very bright border take any points away from my vote.
