Well, at least you finished Top 10 in your own challenge. I don't think Ansel Adams did as well in his. |

I can hear the sound of the fish as they flop on the pier floor. And I remember the story of your dream. A very Spurgeon-esque photograph. :-) |

It would be cool if this one won the silver fish award. The moment captured and the processing make this a great fit for the challenge. |

What a great photo! "I could just drift, he thought, and sleep and put a bight of line around my toe to wake me. But today is eighty-five days and I should fish the day well." quote from The Old Man and the Sea. |

Even though on the face of it I don't see this as being in the traditional style of Ben, I do think this is you Ben. Something about it (thinking of your last free study I suppose) makes me think it is. Plus the title of course. If it's not, then well done for fooling me into thinking it is Ben! |

This is such an old fashion image. The subject is someone out of an adventure novel. Terrific capture, and I really like the sepia tone. |

But you may be a Bspurgeon. That hand holding the fishing pole at the upper left is genius. Great composition. I can feel the salty air. |
