 I do so enjoy Ben's work. I wish I had more of his eye. This is just Rowan running through our sprinkler in the backyard. I was looking to capture a moment that anyone could relate to without having a person to relate it to outside of their own experience. I guess overall i am not sure if this really fits his style outside of some technical things that play out in his images - no face, soft focus and b&w. It's hard to say that these are Ben's style as they are just aspects and components of his style. His style is much much more than those parts. His style is much much more than his models. His style is just much much more than what I could hope to capture.

Fun!!! I like the image in its own right, but find it looks sharpened, a technique I have not noticed Ben use with any frequency.

good, solid but dynamic composition. good use of diagonals and edge of frame. great textures too, and mix of sharp and blur.
