I was inspired to try ND400 filter after reading this:

It is a weird photo for me - very saturated colors, high contrast - an almost perfect "eye candy". But then the vignette changes it all, it introduces a different level. As if someone was looking into the scene from afar. That makes it slightly surreal.

7.24 at 50. And a comment calling me one of the masters! Thanks! :)

I may need to clarify this - I was inspired by the above link and checked it before I drove 120km, each way, to take the photo. I ordered the ND400 filter few weeks ago. This the first photo with ND400 that is doing well at DPC. So I have not mastered it before, I am still learning.

Stunning, Margaret. Congrats on your HM! I feel like a bride about to walk down a very odd aisle, populated with even odder guests.

Congratulations on 4th place .. the vignette was a great idea as it leads the eye right through the old pier/wharf stumps to the beautiful colors in the sky.

Very nice photo. As I look through these I realize that this is just a free study for the masters to get a ribbon. I have a feeling that you knew how to take a great photo without having to pretend that you had to teach yourself to take a long exposure. Sorry if I'm wrong.

That being said..this is a very nice image. Would look better without the vignette IMO though.

Really lovely. The water almost looks like silk. I like your vanishing point too. Those birds are a nice touch. :) I'd hang this on a wall HUGE (on canvas) 8

Awesome capture and I like the vignette. I rarely like vignettes but I think it's used well here.
