 To me (and a lot of people) rural doesn't just mean the country-side. In Newfoundland especially it refers to the coastal fishing villages. There is not a lot of farmland in Newfoundland.

10 second exposure on a very, very calm night (we don't get a lot of those around here). It's in the harbour, not a lake.

The sea is technically not a rural environment. I get the desperation in finding a topic though, this one was a tough one. I like the shot.

It just does not say rural to me! It is a high quality image but choosing boat harbor for "rural" is not going to win many high votes. It would do very well in a challenge about sea or fishing village. I mean it in a nice and realistic way :)
