I don't know how you did this. It sure looks illegal to me. I'll give you a 9 because I have no %$*ing idea how you did it (special feature on your camera?). Jacko 9 |

Interesting shot and I'm certain you did it in camera... I just hope your ready to hear the shouts of the angry mobs :) Not sure how I feel about this kind of shot myself yet... I'm going to judge it on it's merits, I just am having some trouble deciding if I like it... |

cool effect. i saw the discussions in the forums and didn't think this was going to be accepted as legal. glad to see that it is ... i'm jealous of the feature :) nice way of using it for the challenge, too. i wonder what the overall result of your shot is ... if people will accept this in-camera function. i hope they will. good luck :) |

It's cool that this is legal, and it's a great exploration of the challenge topic, but I don't think it's an attractive image. |

I almost voted this a 3 because I would personally like to discourage this type of "effects in the camera" usage on DPC. However, you tell a great story and did a good job of photography, so I won't punish you like that :-) The more I look the more I like it. 7 nards656 |

I think it's interesting to see the sequence, but it does make it difficult to appreciate the detail in any of the images. This effect would probably be best suited to an action sequence where the motion itself ismore important than the subject, like a pelican diving into the water, or the classic galloping horse. |

I don't like the way this was done. Hard to tell anything about the photographs when then are this small. - Inspzil |

I can probably guess who did this since there was some discussion in the forums about this technique the other day... but I won't hold that against you :) Very cool effect... I guess my only wish would be that the bird would have done something more interesting than just "pecking around" -- it may have been more interesting if it had flown away during the last couple frames, but I have a feeling that would have been pretty darned hard to accomplish. |

You selected a very nice topic for this effect. |

This is so cool! I can't wait to see what kind of camera did this! My one suggestion for improvement would be that you snap on a huge zoom lens so I can better see what the bird is doing :P |

Congratulations on a wonderful montage. I love seeing the bird here feeding the babies. First of all, you found this wonderful seen to photograph and then you gave it to us like this! Each little frame has great DOF. My only nit pick is the brown area at the top of each frame but this is still amazing considering you couldn't do any cropping. |

Will my digital that does a short movie print this out also? This is awesome. Good one. The background is really a little too green, but you can't help that a lot. Good focus on the bird and branch. Should do well this challenge. PTL |

Interesting technique, but I would have preferred to see just one of these shots at normal size. This makes me feel like I'm a fly or something. :-) |

Interesting documentary shot that is less pleasing when considered as one image. |

While it was created inside the camera, I simply don't like it. Each little TINY picture is too small to get any detail from at all. I can't tell if that's a nest, or a dead flower/plant. I really have no interest in seeing 9 of basically the same image. The image its self is just too small. Sorry. |

I would have liked to have seen just one frame. Is that lawn in the back ground? |
