Well here we go..shot a strawberry in the process of being sliced up as a garnish for a dessert. I have had to learn how to do this as I am now working at a restaurant and the strawberry fan was the second dessert garnish I learned to do.
Nearly went cross-eyed using the Powershot as I kept trying to look through the viewfinder but finally remembered that with p&s cameras, you're meant to look at the LCD...:-)
Camera on tripod, overhead flood, reflector on the right and a smaller flood from the left to illuminate everything. Had to shoot mostly on timer as I used my hands.
Hope everyone enjoys this.
pp: Powershot can only do jpg so no conversion...crop, shadow/highlight, brightness/contrast, vibrance/saturation, resize, text, sharpen, save for web, place place place... |
