 Prrrfffftttt, one of those things that you live and learn by. Used all the correct tools for advanced editing, left everything from the original picture in there but you can now not see it.

Found out this is a big no-no. It doesn't matter if everything is still there, by my editing I faded out a major component. Removing a major element does not just mean you can chop bits off a photo, it also means you can not make it not seen by legal tools in Advanced.

So lesson learnt!
Disqualification Details
You may not use ANY editing tool to move, remove or duplicate any element of your photograph that would change a typical viewer's description of the photograph (aside from color), even if the tool is otherwise legal, and regardless of whether you intended the change when the photograph was taken.

Bummer about the DQ but I can see why they dinged you. I thought this was a studio shot. The original sheds a whole new light on it. Great finished product no matter how you came by it.

How strange. I feel that I've seen this sitter recently ...same photographer ... same eyelid too tight over the eye, the elegance, the slow bend ... Yes! Yes ("all fur coat ..." - I start to be more and more like Miss Marple: everything reminds me of something).

very nice! This is gorgeous. The shadows on her face are subtle. The shoulder/back is a bit too blurred, and there's some jpeg-i-ness there too.
