Sales Pitchby ClubJuggleComment: Nice idea, seems a bit dark, but maybe that's because the TV screen contrast. Not thrilled with the cropping, could you have brought it down to just the sign? Or maybe move even distances from the edge of the sign to the edge of the picture. 7 Swash |

ENRON HQ - address pending...by clickerComment: Cute joke title. With title I could go 6, without title, at most 4. This is a very, very good tent shot. Let's split the difference and call this a 5. Swash |

Possibly Synonymous With.....by syamjonimiComment: Great photo of a man-hole cover. I do get the title/joke, but it's still a very loose connection to the challenge, in my view. To me the two words on the cover are very oxymoronic, like Military Intelligence, that sort of thing. Visually, I don't see all that much wrong with this photo, except that beauty type appeal (none existant). 5 Swash |

No Time & Fast Changing Technologyby spillerComment: Title? I think it resembles your photo, a bit jumbled. I would call this a little bit of a reach for this challenge. The photo is well taken. The focus is pretty good (the watch face seems "off" just a bit. Framing is too much of a personal choice to me, I prefer to not cut off subjects, but this is acceptable. I like the reflection of the watch in the CD. I'm not crazy about the carpet, but you make due with what you have on hand. As a just plain photo, it's about a 7, as a challenge photo, about the best I can go is 5. Swash |

DrOWned Corporationby sulamkComment: Nice pond. I don't get the title or the connection to the challenge. I must be pretty dumb, I've only gotten about half the titles so far and found the challenge connection on a few more. This, I don't get. Sorry. A polarizing filter would have seen the coy better, but it would also toss your reflection (take your poison). 4 Swash |

Environmentally Friendly???by syamjonimiComment: This is an interesting pattern (along the maze type), but I really don't know what I am looking at (important to me). No common points of reference. Are the darker areas created from shadows? What is that item just off center? Is this water in a swimming pool, maybe in sepia? Title??? totally lost. 6 Swash |

Aged Eleganceby GotchaComment: This is a lovely shot. Texture is present, lots of it. Were I to grade you simply on the photo, no challenge, this is a 10, very nice. As a demonstration of life's texture, it is still a 10. As a demonstration of THE concept of texture (making me think about texture), it misses the mark wide and would be a 4. I am going to split the different and score this texture challenge shot as 6. Swash |

Chain Mail Peaceby DigipixerComment: Wonderful! Where did you find the glove? I don't see anything bad to critique, so well done! I only gave four tens this week, this is one of them! 10 Swash |

Lovedby FrooberComment: Lisa, I am commenting after reading "the thread". I started this shot with a 7. Not knowing what it was, didn't really matter to me. This shot has everything I look for in B&W (dislike the concept, but it's too popular to bad mouth often), the shot has great contrast, sharp/clear focus. On that issue, it's VERY NICE. The outer covering shows good detail, so the texture is very obvious. On the humorous side, even with your "explaination", I still don't see the frog! Because this shot has been discussed at legnth, during the voting, I am going to NOT change my original scoring. You started with a 7, end with a 7. Swash |

Guest of Honorby myqylComment: Cute shot, I'm really tossed about the motion, part of me likes it (serving the bear) and part of me don't (difficult to view). Great color, interesting composition. (What's with the tennis ball?) 7 Swash |
