Harsh landsby NatashaComment: This is a great Black and White photograph. The silouette of the bare tree gives this photograph a strength that would not be seen in a color version of the same scene. Very nice!!! |

Melancholy Melodyby nards656Comment: Very fine use of lines and diagonals. I like how the strings are diagonal in one direction and the bridge (?) is diagonal in another, and they meet at the focus point. This is a very strong photograph. Good luck! |

Christmas Time Is Hereby jenaromComment: This is a very nice photograph. The one small thing that disturbs me is the tiny bit of pine that is not in focus. Everything else is so crisp and clear, that bit seems out of place. Wonderful colors. |

Market Streetby MiekaComment: I wonder why you choose to do this in B&W. I think that the colors must be marvolous here and my eye longs to see that. The composition is very strong and I like that you have given the man room to move across the photo. |

Wooo Hooo!by AnachroniteComment: This is a very good example of stopped movement. It is very unfortunate that the sky was not blue, but of course you had no control over that. I very much like the composition, the way the flags break up the forground and the motocyclist is moving into the photograph... gives him room to "move". |

Blue Streakby inspzilComment: What I like best about this photograph is the absolute feeling of joy. Don't all children have that when they streak through the house? His posture and the way he is holding his hands just give me a feeling that he is probably laughing at the same time. Good composition and great sense of movement |

Driftwoodby GraciousComment: This photograph shows a wonderful sense of "place" (if that makes any sense). I think the one small improvement that could be made is to have "something" showing through the hole in the middle, maybe a persons sillhouette. That would make it into a doorway or window.... Nice use of Black and White. |
