Sun Birds by RianBotesComment: I suspected this might be you Rian. Congrats on a great finish and another Ribbon. Lovely shot and your (and your wife's) patience paid off |

Turbulence by ScapeshotsComment: I'm guessing this is Dwayne wizardry. Nice shot and I anticipate it will do well - maybe a bit higher than a 6.7 so about 0.7 above your average. I am currently about 0.7 above my average too... so good luck to you and may the best man win :-)
I probably would have tried to frame it a bit more to the left. The RHS feels a bit empty to me... the rocks on the left are cut off, the sun is a bit central and the water on the right is void of interest. Nit picking of course as I have already said it is a nice shot!
PS - didnt vote |

pixie dustby smardazComment: A good score and a nice finish. Sofia may be distracting to some... but hopefully for the right reasons :-). Well done Jason |

Subtleby HarveyGComment: A nice shot too and a lovely silhouette. Yes the flare wasn't huge and probably would have made this nice simple shot worse. Looks like you will win your BYOAK - well done |

pixie dustby smardazComment: I think this turned out very nicely. The poof of powder is excellently exposed and I like the composition too. Good luck! GO VILLAGE BURNERS |

The Guideby gyabanComment: Where have I seen those butterflies before? I hope this entry doesn't get a DQ for a reflector disappearing this time! Lighting is awesome as usual and the lens flare is subtle and gentle just like butterflies! |

Night Sky in the Badlandsby CitadelComment: Looks like a william88' sky! (Take that as a compliment! - sorry got the name wrong the first time, corrected now)
Yes obviously a long exposure was used to capture this scene and the stars. Something is a bit weird with your PP. It looks like most of the vegitation is still but on the top right of the dark hill and right of the orange rock there is some funny blurring where hill meets sky. Will probably do quite well regardless |
