day 2 - mary.jpgby rachelellenComment: Well, I liked your first one too. Cute haircut. :) But this is pretty darn great. Look at the clarity in her eye. Cats are so cool. I have both cats and dogs and it's a tough call, but I think I lean more towards a cat person. And yes, they can definitely get persnickety when they don't get their way. ;-D |

Orchidby violinist123Comment: Very nice light and a beautiful orchid. It just pops against the white background, perfect amount of softness. |

sisters for life ;)by ShannonLeeComment: This whole series is AWESOME, including the flickr photos. You do good stuff with that Peleng.
This particular one is just so special. It gives off good vibes but I guess having a sister makes it that much easier to understand the goodness of this. :) |

1 030 oct2b.jpgby TownleyComment: The colors are very pretty. But for some reason it looks like the focus didn't lock on this. There is no defined sharp area. You may have been a little too close. To compensate you may want to move back until you hear or see the focus lock. When seeing something like this you tend to want to get as close as possible to get the little details but the lens can only focus to a certain point. Just a helpful suggestion since I see you are new to your camera. :) It was a mistake I made for a little bit too and can be frustrating when you don't know why it's happening. I'm glad you joined this side challenge. It's loads of fun and there are great tips to be shared. :) |
