The lines are there, but because of the shallow DOF, they don't lead the eye.

Comment:
It's a nice image, but the lines don't seem to lead... this might be more fitting for a "lines" challenge.

I like the composition on this, but I think the DOF should have been deeper to bring the foreground into focus and really accentuate the leading nature of the fenceline.

I really like the patterns formed by the structure, but they move in so many different directions, they do not lead the eye anywhere. Perhaps less of the structure and more of the vegetation and pillars in this photo would help.

Nice lines and shadows. For me, the lines don't lead at all... they are just there. Perhaps a portrait orientation would help accentuate the lines.

A very serene image. What bothers me is that the line of the water disappears from view too soon, and you lose the impact of the leading line.

Comment:
I really like the concept of both the wires and the rails, but there are too many crisscrossing wire which detract from the pattern you were trying to achieve. Perhaps cropping out much of the top part of this image would help.

Comment:
The lines are incidental to the composition here and do not provide the eye with a path to follow.

Comment:
The lines do lead everywhere, which I think is a problem... they do not draw you to or away from a particular part of the image.

Comment:
There are too many conflicting lines here which really detract from the leading lines in the foreground. If not for those, I think this could have been much better.
