Day 8 - The Little Medusaby ArtysteComment: man it has been a while since I have seen a photo of Megan... she is growing up fast
this is a beautiful study that captures more than just the reflected light, it has essence of soul
I even like the blown highlights |

by boysetsfireComment: Man I need to get back down the South Island, my last four holidays to New Zealand have been in the North Island due to family luckily I have a brother down south so I will be annoying him next
onto the photo... I picked it as being a South Island alps feed river from the look of the water (yes everyone this is the right look for the water there)
love the lines, the contrast and the use of the full tonal range |

W e n z a (Day 2)by CalliopeKelComment: Oh your friend is going to love you for posting this :)
my only problem with this is that the skin tone and the background are a little to close to each other on the right side, darkening that side of the background to equal the left would fix it |

Day 2 - Castle Hill Lighthouseby CapeSailComment: I don't know if your monitor is calibrated but on my one this lacks a little contrast (shot needs to be a little darker)
the water, rocks and lower half of the lighthouse all seem to blend together tonally
by lightening the shadows and darkening the highlights you have lowered the overall contrast to much
any chance of seeing the color original as I like the shot and would like to try a few different B&W looks, jpeg this size would be fine :) |

Daisyby BAMartinComment: a great candidate for B&W and the conversion is very good
I'm a little different to the other comments in the fact that I would like the flower to be a little crisper
more sharp on the edges of the petals but still with their soft texture |
