Yoga Bouquetby BradComment: I really want to see how you did this. Did you zoom in or out the lense/camera while this image was being captured?
It is a nice caputre of color and is definately a neon subject. The only issues I see is the extra dead space in the top of the image and the cutting off of the bottom of the subject. It almost looks as if the whole subject could have been in the image if the camera was physically higher then it was. |

Shark Bait....Boo Ha Haby foxycoxy2auComment: The border pisses me off. It is to bright and destracting.
The rest of the image is quite nice. I like the way you were able to capture the fish without being slapped with the issues common to fishtank photography.
I am sorry if my initial statement sounded very harsh, but it was the first thing that popped into my head when your image loaded and I think it is important that you are aware of initial reactions to your work, once I got past the border the rest of the image is very nice. |

Waterscapeby moodvilleComment: Very nice image.
The crispness of this image is excellent. This is something that I am definately going to have to give a go. |

Grazing Fieldby moodvilleComment: Wow, if this is the results of getting lost, I just have to say that you should do so more often. The colors are quite vibrant and really make this image shine.
This is something I can imagine seeing on the wall of someone's home. |

Floral Front Yard Landscapeby menardmamComment: This image is really flat. It's not very colorful and vibrant. If you play with some of the color saturation it could be brought more to life.
Other then that there isn't a real strong focus on plant life so much as on the dead wooden fence. That's where I keep finding my eyes drawn to as it stands out from everything around it. |

Salt Marsh-Botanical Wonderlandby PoobaComment: This is a very nice landscape shot. I really like the vibrant capture of color between the blues and the greens here. The only issue with this image is that it doesn't completely meet the challenge. I am unsure which plant life is the main focus of this image.
Is it what appears to be a small stand of trees to the right of the image? Is it the 'stump/roots' collection in the middle right of the image? Is it the grasses that are all over the scene?
I would score this higher with a clearly defined focus on a particular plant life. |

Flowers And The Killpecker Sand Dunesby GallatinComment: Very nice capture. The main thing that I would change is to crop/tilt the image slightly to overcome the very slight horizon issue. There are a considerable number of people that will mark down for the minor tweak you have in your horizon here.
The only other thing that I would do is play with some of individual color saturation levels to bring out a little more of the blues, yellows and perhaps the greens as well. |

Shrimp Flowerby livingfictionComment: This is a nice capture, but it is really flat colorwise and doesn't grab attention because of that. I am unsure how you would make this more vibrant, perhaps at a different time of day or with a different light source, some more of the pink and green could be brought out. |

Sunflowers at Sunsetby Dim7Comment: The burning in this image seems a bit overdone and also lacking in a few spots, like on the the left part of the image where the tree 'mates' with the roof of the building. This image just feels over processed.
I do like the contrast you are reaching for with this, but the changes in lighting between one spot and another are to drastic and sudden. |
