Clouds above...stars belowby digifotojoComment: I really like the overall tone of this image, and the beautiful lights. I find the tree somewhat distracting and would have been tempted to crop it out - I find that I really want to focus on the bridge and lights. |

starburstby skewsmeComment: Risky, risky going with something so very hi-key. I absolutely love it - nicely done subtle representation of star. |

a dangerous world by rozComment: I didn't get a chance to vote during this challenge, but this would easily have gotten a 10 from me. I absolutely LOVE your post processing, it really makes it very unique, and it's actually quite beautiful - and I never ever thought I'd say *beautiful* about a "bug" picture; but this isn't just "any" bug picture!
Congratulations on your placement! |

Bang Pae Waterfallby BHusemanComment: Beautiful! A nicely done shot - it must be so great to be able to see such beautiful parts of other countries, I'm a little envious! |

50 pounds and countingby strangeghostComment: WOW, good job - you look incredible! Congratulations! I can't wait to show your pictures to my husband. He's been depressed since gaining 60lbs, and is having trouble staying on track to lose any of it. |

When I'm Ridin'by HipychikComment: I'm a Photoshop junkie, and love all kinds of PP, but for me, this is overprocessed to the point that it does not help the photograph, but rather, hurts it. |

Paid in Fullby timfythetooComment: I like this image on so many levels. Certainly, it is not outside of my comfort zone, but I felt compelled to comment on it anyway. I don't get a chance to see many images on dpc anymore, and miss many good ones, such as this.
Personally, I find the image to project a lot of symbolism to me, though perhaps that was not intentional - the image of Christ who gave all for each and every one of us, against the wide, open sky, which to me represents the vast omnipotence of an awesome God.
A well-done image that appeals to me in a deeply personal way.
I also appreciate the final four sentences in your Photographer's Comments. |

Hollowby SJCarterComment: Awesome.
One of the things that I enjoy most about your portfolio is that, for the most part, you have commentary on most of the images. I love looking at people's work, but the stories, comments, PP steps add SO much to the enjoyment of the work. Thanks for being so very willing to share not only how you process some of your work, but for sharing your life, your thoughts and your feelings.
Thanks for adding so much to dpc.
