Composition: 10 - Spot on :)
Technical: 9 - Wonderful soft lighting, matched well with a great shallow DoF and soft processing technique. The only thing that bothers me a little is the white dot in the right pupil. Catchlights are good but in this case it makes her eye just look a bit strange.
Creativity: 5 - The location and the pose aren't that creative here but I won't rate that too strongly in the overall average since the photo is a whole is so good.
Appeal: 9 - Beautiful model and beautiful photography.

Piercing Eyes

Composition: 8 - Very nice composition, puts the focus firmly on the eyes . The only thing I'd change is to crop a little lower at the top so that the top of the frame wasnt the same point at which the hairline is.
Technical: 7 - Lovely soft DoF, and great focus on the eyes. Fantastic colours! The skin tones seem a bit blotchy though, maybe I would have tried to even them up a little in post processing.
Creativity: 7 - Different from other portraits simply due to the variety of strong colours in the eyes and the kind glancing look, which makes it seem spontanious and even better :)
Appeal: 7

Composition: 2 - Straight on and centered, doesn't add anything to the photo.
Technical: 2 - Seems overexposed in the top right and is overall fairly over-sharpened.
Creativity: 2 - The setup could look nice, but it is really killed by the uninspiring composition.
Appeal: 2 - Taking into account everything I've said, and the fact that the placed shells don't really interest me, this photo lacks appeal for me.

Composition: 6 - The composition focuses attention in the right places, but I feel the buildings need a little more space to "breathe", by perhaps having more sky or more water.
Technical: 6 - Lacks any real highlights, the brightest part being a grey, but overall not bad.
Creativity: 5 - The lights amongst the silhouettes are a nice touch, but lack of any real focal point (perhaps something floating in the water?) leaves the photo looking fairly lifeless.
Appeal: 5 - Interesting shapes and contrasts are presented, but it doesnt really do a lot for me personally.

Composition: 6 - There's nothing particularly wrong with the composition here, it shows everything it needs to very well. I'm just not a fan of how there is so much white space at the bottom of the border.
Technical: 6 - Very nice B&W work, but just lacks a little contrast in my opinion. I'd brighten up the whites a little.
Creativity: 7 - Very emotive portrait. The setting along with the expression of the man bring up a lot of questions.
Appeal: 7 - It gives you a lot to think about, and has great little details which keep me looking a long time.

Composition: 7 - Good amount of space on the right for it to fly into. Nice choice.
Technical: 7 - Nice warm lighting, but the bird gets a bit lost against the wood in the background which is the same colour. Maybe a shallowed DoF would help a bit?
Creativity: 6 - Saying that, the background makes a nice change from usual shots like this.
Appeal: 6

Composition: 8 - Normally I'd think this showed too much sky, but considering the sky here I'd say you got it pretty much right :)
Technical: 6 - The high contrast looks good but there are no real bright areas to really give it it's full dynamic range. There is also some haloing around the trees and buildings. The exposure time however worked great, with the smooth water and the great looking streaks in the sky (from the moving clouds I guess?)
Creativity: 7 - Quite a unique harbour shot!
Appeal: 6 - It has a lot of initial impact, but it doesnt last when I started noticing things like the halos and the overall fairly flatness in the image.

Composition: 9 - Perfect, except I think perhaps a little less forhead so it doesn't cut off just as the hairlines meet would look slightly better.
Technical: 10 - Perfect, the glow, the sharpness on the eyelashes coupled with the softness elsewhere. Perfect skintones too.
Creativity: 8 - Different from most portraits, in that the focus is mainly on the eye lashes rather than the eyes themselves. I like it.
Appeal: 10 - Very appealing photo! Great work!

Composition: 5 - A standard non-adventurous composition, but still it works well for this shot.
Technical: 6 - It seems over-smooth in places, and the B&W makes it seem a bit cold. I'd have used a very subtle sepia tint just to add some warmth.
Creativity: 5 - Its quite a usual shot for newborn babies, the 2 pairs of hands adds something though.
Appeal: 4 - I'm sure the parents absolutely adore the photo, but for me it doesn't do a lot, sorry.

Technical: 8 - Nice high contrast editing which really brings out the rich colours in the shot. The eye really sticks out well too, nice one.
Creativity: 7 - Definately not the usual portrait :)
Appeal: 6 - The rich colours really make this shot nice to look at for me, but it starts to creep me out if I look at it too long :P
