You live where?by debitiptonComment: Looks like a small crop from a large image. Very visible noise in the blue areas and strong evidence of sharpening. Otherwise a fun choice of subject. 6 |

Road to nowhere?by okiesisiComment: I like the grain and slightly false colours. Good atmosphere and choice of road sign. 7 |

The Burning Entityby thewritersideComment: Good technique but why the garden chair? Why not something for which fire might have meant something? Or something beautiful? Anything less mundane would have been better. 6 |

Spacely's Plantby whiteroomComment: Looks like it should be shouting "Danger Will Robinson!". :-) Great atmosphere and light. Very comic book style. 8 |

A Peace of Libertyby SailingduckComment: Nice idea but somehow I don't believe that's really a lens magnified image. Looks more like a print-out stuck on the back of the magnifying glass. It's the lack of refraction at the sides that makes it look that way. A good idea but -1 for choosing the stars and stripes again. Cliche now for me. 8 |

Finding GODby ZoomdakComment: Ok I found god but much more interesting was bxlnc:jnv. Seriously, though, this is an interesting idea well executed. It would be visually displeasing if not for the clever use of colour. The metaphor for ginding god is a decent idea if you're into that sort of thing. Sadly I'm not so it doesn't do much for me on an emotional level. Even so - 8 for a well concieved and executed concept. |

All Gave Some - Some Gave All by ClubJuggleComment: I just love this. A number of people used these walls full of names but the key element here was getting a human being back into it. And better still to capture an appropriate aged hand in the act of touching the wall. It's that idea that elevates this shot abocve the others. Well done and well deserved. |

Final Callby Prime_TimeComment: Probably the best example yet of selective desaturation without a valid purpose. Your use of it here has actually managed to draw the eye AWAY from what I assume was meant to be the focus of this picture. If the wheel-thing was supposed to be the focus then we really need to be able to see better what it is. 5 |
