When will they GO to get me ?by thewandererComment: Looks like it might be quite a nice go set, though I can't see evidence of clam shell stripes on the white stones. Nice idea for a shot but I don't think I would have set up the board in such an implausable position. Also relies heavily on the viewer's understanding of the rules of go. I think your lighting might have made the white stones lighter to help the viewer distinguish the two colours more readily. I like the shallow depth of field and the B&W. 7 |

Finally.....by Beach_melComment: If you're going to take a picture of mother and baby I think you really need to be able to see the baby. This is too tight a framing for my tastes. Otherwise I like the light and the duotone. Might have been better with your eyes open too. 7 |

Boxesby utroComment: A really clever idea that somehow doesn't quite work. Took a while to see what was going on and while it did evoke the kind of confusion intended I ended up thinking more about how you'd done it than about the picture. Beautiful model with an excellent choice of location, light and clothing colours which separate you well from the surroundings. 8 |

My Epiphanyby JasComment: An acceptable studio shot but what on earth is that pose all about? Technicals are good. 7 |
