Don't Shake The Babyby vladoComment: I'm sure you have probably received a lot of comments on this (potentially positive and negative) the title holds a good message to new parents - the image may be too graphic for the more conservative folk - the development of the image overall is well done - tho there are some hot spots on the fabric and on the 'skin tone' that I'm sure if this was advanced editing you probably would have dodged/burned around and in- but since its basic editing you pulled this one off - succeeding to make it look almost horrifically real - it will be interesting to see the reactions of the voters to this image later - my own reaction initially was "this one is going to get a lot of reactions" I scored this on the high end but need to point out the distracting element of my eye being pulled out of the frame due to the white spots/fabric /skin tone on the edge.. -- high score -- good luck
~*bumped it up a point on a 3rd look through the images*~ |

Froggie Eyesby vtruanComment: cute frogs :-)
I think some level adjustment would have made this pop better...
my eyes are drawn more to the red background than to the frogs tho... interesting choice of composition...
*bumped your score a bit on second look*

Sleep Tightby robinssongComment: my first reaction to this was "big brother is watching you" (something about the eyes) *l* :-) or the angle I suppose... its interesting how you made the face almost look like its floating in stars; a rather nice effect the dark spots on the face are a bit distracting... i'm not sure if this was dodged/burned (I don't think the rules allowed for it) or if it is dirt? but they're a bit blotchy and keep pulling my eyes into the unusual shapes... --otherwise I like the image overall :-) and gave it a high score |

The dolls of the fashion world.by thedarkposeComment: I'm not sure if this quite fits most peoples opinions of what a doll is :) but I like the out of box thinking and the image itself is amazingly done - the lighting is well done- I gave this a high score and hope it does well despite literal linear thinkers ;) models are the dolls of the fashion world- dressed up set on a stage posed and prettied up and or starved until they're nearly non-existent --its a sad reality - but a beautiful photograph --
my first reaction by the way was: -anorexia nervosa? then it took me a few moments to look over the image and the lighting and the pose... -- all well done -- high score |

"Heh Heh Heh"by naomikComment: this is adorable and playful at the same time; I'm sure there are some clown phobias out there among the voters and your score may suffer for it- well you're fortunate since I'm not one of them ;) - I think even the scary looking clowns are funny most of the time ;) :-) I like the sepia tone of this its warm and lets me imagine what the colors of the clowns outfit/hair would be - it eliminates any distracting colors that would pull the eye in a million different directions and allows me to focus on he subject - :-) well done :-) high score |
