All things smallby BradComment: The colors are quite nice and the depth of field is also effective, though I'm not sure it would be a highly sellable photo due to it's subject material. |

Sonoran Starlight by kirbicComment: This is such a magical shot. The light of the moon coming from top right and the light of the sun on the horizon are lovely. Also, the curving topography cut through by the cactus makes this shot one of the best in this challenge. I give it a 9. |

Nature's Grandeur by pncowleyComment: Excellent framing. The golden colors contrasted with the blues in the distance are so lovely. And the details of the nearer portions of the canyon are very clear. Gorgeous shot. 9 |

WATER for LIFEby librodoComment: Lovely shot. Manuel, perhaps? Narrow DOF is excellent and backlighting of spraying water is very nice. The child's arm reaching up to the faucet pulls it all together very nicely. 9 |

Weathered Eleganceby K-RobComment: The light that helped capture this texture is just right. Great contrasts and lines! |

There's a Placeby arnitComment: The mountain in this photo is absolutely gorgeous - the contrasts of b+w are so powerful. For me, that dark part of the sky is so large, though, that it competes with the mountain in this composition. Perhaps cropping the top 1/4 of the way down would have strengthened it. All in all, your pic is one of my favorites of the challenge. |

Cobblestoneby crabappl3Comment: This photo communicates a sense of mystery and a bit of a feeling of dread, too, with it's locked doors and gate, the dark foreboding sky, the stark tree and the black points on the building. The contrast of darks and lights is very nice and the photo includes a large palette of grays too. A couple things that I think could have made your photo stronger would have been to somehow eliminate the 2 trees that you just see a bit of, on the left and on the right. This would have been especially nice on the left, as it would have made the shape of the church stand out a bit more. The texture of the roadway in the foreground is very nice too, but perhaps cropping it a bit too would make the whole composition stronger. All in all, it's one of my top pics. |

Old Methodist Burying Groundby Bear_MusicComment: This is a gorgeous photograph-my favorite of the challenge! The contrasts of b + w and the shades of grey in between are beautiful. The darkness of the clouds, the way the white of the church stands out, the textures of the graves, as well as the walls of the church - these are all things that stand out to me.
