almost deadby xantangummiComment: This is a nice picture, but the white around the edges looks to be a little blown out. Also it doesn't really look dead or almost dead, but to the contrary looks very lively and beautiful. Great capture of a dandelion, though- I like how the stem fades into the black. |

view from.... by nordicComment: I wanted so much to get a shot like this- even before the framing challenge, yet the only similar one I've found so far was looking toward a grocery store. I guess I need to go farther, yes?? Lol Excellent shot!! I love it! |

holy cowsby whiteroomComment: I love these cows! We used to have them next door and they were so sweet, but then they replaced them with longhorns and they aren't very friendly. Awesome picture, I love the dust and expression of the cows- perhaps too much contrast or light exposure on the top, though. |

Early morning Blues by XileboComment: Beautiful shot and beautiful horses! Arabians, no?? I kind of wish there were only white horses, but extremely well done considering that horses never seem to want to work with you and a camera! :) |

Second City by kirbicComment: I've never loved the city- infact, I've always hated it with a deep passion. Yet this photograph makes me love the city. Absolutely stunning capture of lights and colors... well done!! |

Salt of the Earth?by briantammyComment: I really like the focus of this photo. I think it might have looked better on a darker background, though? To bring out the copper tone and emphasize the single grain of salt. |

Sand Crabby ckempfComment: Though it is evident that this is a perished sandcrab due to it being upside down, and I am not one for photos of dead animals, I do love the color scheme and focus on the sand. It is a wonderful picture, and don't fear, I shall not mark off for my stated dislike. :-) |

the edgeby ursulaComment: This is a beautiful shot- I love the glossiness of the water and the way you were able to capture the damp graininess of the sand. All of the lines presented in this picture are wonderful as well. Great job! |

Crop Circle?by MaxheadrooMComment: I like the lighting on the seeds- (i am guessing they are seeds?)- but I feel like it would have been a wonderful picture even without the circle light. Perhaps even, maybe, with another subject place amongst them to the side?? Beautiful lighting though! |
