Great focus on the eyes. I also like the contrasting colors (blue sander, red shirt, yellow shelf).

Diversityby pmichaudComment: Great idea. The high lights on the metal one ruin if for me. With metal, you really have to defuse the light else you're get those high lights.

Bringing Books To Life!!by super-daveComment: OMG, Great concept. Very unique. I don't know what it needs, but it needs something else.
Maybe more seperation between the man and book. Rotating camera left a bit might make it better and allow the man to pop out.
