The Soft Light of Yestermornby CutterComment: The muted pastel colours, the gradient diffusion, the appropriate amount of neat image, all make this a great photo. One teeny nitpick, is that the asymmetry of the catchlights in her eyes draws my attention. Was the left eye's catchlight postprocessed, or natural? It's a very minor detail, but her eyes are such an integral part of the visual and subjective appeal, that that occurs to me. But a superb photo, the like of which I wish I could take. 9. |

Listening To Lifeby -Bec-Comment: Very cute subject. The bliss, on the big sister's face, is so sincere and unstaged. Perhaps I find the white background a little too dazzling, given it's large proportion of the area, and it's total whiteness. But it's a great photograph, full of feelgood appeal. |

Down Underby BosborneComment: I just LOVE this.....the colour contrast is so powerful, and the whole photo just has such 'pop'. Only thing is, I wish you'd used your whole size allocation, and made it a bigger photo, and perhaps toned down the highlights to the left of the picture. But very nice....well done. |

Roses and Friendsby naplesmuscComment: Such a lovely photo.......but I'm afraid it may get dq'ed. Still, here is a good strong vote for you, just in case it isnt disqualified. |

summer by ursulaComment: To me, its fitting and proper, that Ursula, maestro of mood and emotion on DPC, should win the blue ribbon, with such a stunning photograph. This is vintage Ursula stuff, and I just love being part of DPC, to see this here. |

DSC_0207a.jpgby PedroComment: Definitely one of the best wedding photographs I"ve seen. No misty moments, with a white veil in diffused soft focus. No close ups, of the groom putting the ring on his bride's finger. Naaa...just gritty, tell-it-like-it-is reality. This is more "photojournalism", than traditional wedding photography, and I absolutely love it. |

Wonderlandby StructorComment: Somehow the sunflower and Santa suit seem discordant, and out of place to me. I think I would have preferred to have seen her in less colourful clothing, surrounded and contrasted by all those lovely blue background flowers. |

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...........by Jaded_HousewifeComment: I would love to know how you did the whole setup. Did you use a tripod, get settled into bath, with just one dry hand sticking out to reach the shutter or remote?....Whatever, it's quirky, indulgent, colourful, different, fun,... and just great! Well thought out. |

Opening Soonby sherComment: Very effective. One's eye is drawn to the focal point, I guess by use of noise and masked levels and desat in the background. It's a little different from the other entries, in a positive way, and I like it. |
