A Mermaids Taleby JudiComment: Positioning the sun a little farther to the right would have helped. The lighting on the rock is a little distracting since the lighting seems unbalanced with the rest of the shot. I assume you used a flash to prevent it from being in silouhete, but perhaps a little less flash power or at least some better post processing would help. |

Cancerby sarrobiComment: oh...took me a minute to make the connection as to how this related to signs. I bet that is hurting your score isn't it? |

The Riverby Travis99Comment: I like the color and mood of this...though the sharpness of the image seems a bit soft and the person being in the center like that is distracting. It may have actually been better if they weren't there at all. |

Japanese Brideby cfischlComment: A little too much room to the sides and above for my liking...easily fixed with a crop though... |

School's Outby JutildaComment: Meets the challenge but needs work on the composition. Perhaps a tighter crop on the girl or just remove some of the excess room to the right...it just seems the one side has too much visual weight with the girl and tree all shoved to one side |

Waiting....by barbaraanneComment: I like the feel of the image...just don't like the composition all that much. There is too much empty space around the subject and his placement in the frame is not ideal. Probably to keep it a vertical image it needed to be zoomed in more on the subject so he filled most of the frame...otherwise it could have maybe been beter to have made it horizontal with the subject at the left end of the frame. Actually, the most distracting element of the photo is the roof overhang. Since it is the lightest thing in the photo it attracts attention. Just the removal of the overhang would greatly improve things. |

never a night too late for the fishermanby art-ineptComment: I like the feel of this image and it is nice and sharp...but the composition just isn't working for me. Probably wold have been good to have been zoomed in more on the fishermen. I would say that the main thing that need to be eliminated from the shot is the light post....it is the brightest thing in the shot and distracts from some of the more important elements. |

Too Little And To Lateby GolferDDSComment: I like the concept. The composition isn't too bad, though it does seem slightly unbalanced. Probably would have benefited from the egg being turned forward a little more so the leg wasn't sticking so far out to the side and causing the empty space to the bottom and top of it. Also I don't really care for the color in this image...just looks like bad white balance... |

Lookby arash1987Comment: I really don't know about this composition...the models eyes are somewhat compelling and I can may be see being a little more cropped in on them...but having the image cut off right after the nose and with such a bright highlight on the nose it kind of pulls attention away from the eyes...also just seems kind of weird to have so much forehead in place of showing the more important features of the face like the lips |

Into the lightby chloeclogsComment: The lighting is interesting and this could have been a great image if the composition was better. The person walking is just way too close to being dead center and I think the diagonal lines of the sidewalk could have been used a little better to draw you into the photo... |
