Red Sky at Night Sailors' Delightby pixeldustComment: Nice tones and an reasonable composition. It looks to be blurred due to camera shake though. The grainy (noisy) texture suggests that this was a long exposure and a tripod or other convenient support would have helped to eliminate the camera shake. Sometimes with longer exposures and the chance of camera shake it is a good idea to take several identical pictures and pick the sharpest one later. |

Blue Alleyby The_squirrelComment: What a shame it is so small! It look like an interesting composition with gentle tones but its so small I cant really tell. |

Heavy Weatherby PegasusComment: This is the only image in the challenge that I donât feel I have seen before. It shows creativity and lateral thinking. It offers a perspective of the world filled with emotion and devoid of complication. It fits its title with superb craft and is well executed too. |

Yellow Lilyby taljComment: Certainly an interesting composition. The simplicity appeals to me, as it does with your other flower pictures. I think of the three this one is the weakest but Iâm struggling to say why. I think perhaps it is the very light lower section of the flower that prevents my eye flowing with the curve. Perhaps if this part was toned down a little or even cropped off it would work better. The other thing is the fold near the top that touches the edge of the image, it seems to drag my eye from the frame.
Once again your use of light is superb.

Simple Roseby taljComment: A beautiful image, you have brought out the textures particularly well. The lighting is quite superb. I like the simplicity of your flower images, they are a refreshing change. It is the ânegative spaceâ that make this image for me, without it it would be just another, all be it very good, flower picture. Message edited by author 2006-09-26 08:05:52. |

flowersby whiteroomComment: You have the most incredible ability.
I wanted to comment on some of your pictures but itâs hard to think what to say other than âGosh, wow, amazing, beautifulâ and Iâd start sounding like a dork ;-) Iâll try and think of something more original as I go.

Crazy Is The Forecast All Weekby ShannonLeeComment: It seems you great work when you are bored â I noticed on some of your other pictures you said you did them because you were bored. Hale to boredom I say. Message edited by author 2006-09-23 10:53:20. |

Flower Girlby escapetoozComment: This is much better. Iâm glad you were very subtle with the contrast increase, thatâs all it needed. It has removed the slight greyness in the shadows on her skin and given it just the right amount of ping. Iâd say its now perfect and should be left alone :-)
When I look at her face it makes me smile, itâs such a wonderful expression you have caught there! Well done!
