I spent a good two hours on friday chasing a heron up and down the beach trying to get a good in-flight shot. Thankfully, things worked out and I got some excellent shots, and I have a new appreciation for how tricky it is to get good shots like this of fast flying birds. Your final entry is excellent, but I'm sure this would have fared well also. Congrats!

I noticed these shots earlier today, and having shot a couple hundred shots in the blackcomb park the day before, I was very impressed by the quality of focus on your shots. I know firsthand now that it aint easy, and you have it down pretty damn good on your shots. Thanks for the comment.

I have to agree with those that thought the border wasnt too hot... the colour isnt that great IMO.

Otherwise, this is a fantastic shot. I'm shocked that it didn't finish higher!
