Pinkby BAMartinComment: Very beautiful shot! The shallow DOF works very well to draw my attention to the central subject; I also like the almost pink hue imparted to the entire shot (intentionally or not). Well done! |

100% RDA of Colourby GreggeNComment: Are you certain that shouldn't be color? Without the "u" :-) Seriously, now... I'm not certain whether it is simply the lighting, or what, but this shot seems a bit too two-dimensional to me. The fruit just doesnt't seem to 'pop' out of the photo. Perhaps a softer (maybe fluorescent, no flash) lighting might help you capture some additional depth and dimension, while also eliminating the individual shadows. |

Huesby BeetleComment: Very interesting, almost totally abstract approach... Color is definitely the focus of this shot! Nicely done! |

Colours of springby vcosmaComment: Very nice color overall; I like the use of the cloudless blue sky as a backdrop. (Not sure your colour is the same as my color, though... :) JK!
I would have preferred either a very definite use of a shallow DOF (with a very clearly recognizable subject), or a broad DOF with all blossoms in focus. Just my opinions, though! |

Blossom in Colourby anon-y-mouseComment: Beautiful color, and very well photographed! I think the very faint pale blue in the background give a certain depth that might not otherwise be there if it were starkly white. Blue vase is a nice touch. |

Rainbowby rickhd13Comment: This shot definitely has potential, but suffers from a lack of focus near each side, in my opinion. It also seems to show some 'pincushion' distortion, probably from the camera lens. Great color overall, though! |

Front Rowby AzrifelComment: Very nice lineup; line draws my eye across the frame very well. I would recommend cropping out the spot at the lower left corner of the frame (lens flare?)-- spectators also draw away from the overall impact, as well. Overall, though, quite nicely done! |

Kosmic Keyboardby CLarson557Comment: Very interesting effect. What did you use as a filter? Decent approach to the challenge, but the colors of the border really detract from your overall shot, in my opinion. |

Springby bioshoreComment: Nice approach to the subject. A couple of things that might improve the shot (in my opinion) are to try to but the tree at such an angle that you can lighten the shot overall while cropping out (or avoiding entirely) the blown-out sky. Perhaps a shot even from a slightly different angle that would show a better reflection... |

Purple Light Studyby AnnidaComment: Very interesting effect... pretty tough shot due to the potential over/under exposure of the lamp. Might benefit from some additional external lighting to allow a shorter exposure time. |
