A Study in Colorby HRoxasComment: Amazing details! One can almost feel the smooth texture of the pepper. Lighting is also very good with nice tones and gradations in color and light. 10 |

Lancing Collegeby marboComment: Excellent night shot and the College is illuminated quite nicely. I rather liked the silhouette in the right half of the image but not sure if the lights in the buildings were cloned out if it would look better or not. As negative space goes, your image closely adheres to the rule of thirds but I think it would look better with more sky vs empty black. 7 |

The Blue Windowby aKiwiComment: Separately, I think the two elements of this photo would be very good but I don't think they work well as a combination. They each are fighting for attention and, worse yet, they are in opposite corners. The colors are nicely saturated and focus appears to be nice and sharp. 5 |

Gasolineby GringoComment: Is this real or a diorama/model? If this is a model, I am VERY impressed with the level of detail captured in the photo but the composition feels a bit busy. I like the soft colors and focus. 7 |

Mercyby hopperComment: I like the composition for most part. The tree trunk to help frame the subject's face is a good idea. Areas that might need to be addressed are the bright highlights of the model's hair and the background still has too much detail. The model's skin is slightly red, too, almost sunburned. 5 |

Munising Fallsby pitsamanComment: Good job of using a slow shutter to capture the waterfall. Looks great with the soft feel. The use of the trees and other assorted greenery to frame the rock face and waterfall was also excellent. 9 |

Night Torchby crabappl3Comment: This shot really impressed me. I really like how the flame lights up the balloon and immediate area on the ground. Then you move to the background and see the other flames doing the same thing, although without seeing the illuminated balloon and ground. I do see slight signs of noise in the sky. 9 |

Vases Filled With Waterby GolferDDSComment: I like the idea behind this photo but somehow the execution seems to lack punch and wow factor. Contrast is excellent as one can see the subtle grays in the background pattern. 5 |

The Ruinby e301Comment: At first I thought the contrasting sky colors were distracting but then I thought that they gave dark feel to the shot to emphasize the fact that the buildings have been in ruin for a long time. Composition is also good. 8 |

Sky light!by kosmikkreeperComment: At first I didn't know what I was looking at then I saw the lightning! I think it would be even more impressive if it were the sole light source in the photo (clone out the lights near the water). The big dark clouds contribute to the stormy feel of the photo. 9 |
