Very cute! It's almost as if she's distracted by the single bubble just enough to lose concentration on the task at hand (making more bubbles). I also see noise along with your soft focus. 6

Summer Days

A very good action shot of children at play. But his photo lacks balance and symmetry. The bench does not have its equal on the right side. Same with the bush on the left although it at least has shadows on the right but not enough to balance out. I think it would have been better if those shadows on the right and the branches on the left were cropped out or at least arranged better. 6

Normally I don't really like centered photographs for creative content such as DPC challenges but this one works very well. The background is well muted and not distracting. Details are superb and very clear. Excellent photo! My only complaint is the border. Such a magnificent bird almost plays second fiddle to a thick border. I would have preferred a thinner border if any at all. 9

Alright, I must be ignorant because I have no idea what a Kozak is but I will give you the benefit of the doubt that the man in the picture is an accurate representation. Very sharp details. Contrast is excellent for the most part (shirt has bright spots) as are the colors. I really like how I can see individual hairs of the horse's mane and the wrinkles of the skin on the man's hand. I could go on. Excellent work. Minus half a point for the man not looking at the camera but I'll round up. 9

Love the duotone and the slight rose tint in the upper right. Hard to tell if you applied a soft focus of if it was passed through Neat Image a bit too much. I think the latter after closer inspection of the tree leaves as they feel overprocessed to me and/or out of focus. That's too bad because had the leaves been in focus and not as processed, I probably would have given this a 10. 6

The volumetric lighting is very nice and very subtle. However, I see lots of noise in the shadow area just below the stream of light and maybe even in the grassy area. Or maybe it was just overprocessed in Neat Image. 5

Very nice portrait study. Excellent details and lighting is also very nice but maybe a bit bright on her forehead. Would like to see a bit more contrast. 7

Great insect macro study. I think I would have liked to see more details of the dragonfly in sharp focus rather than shallow DOF. That works fine for the flower but not for the dragonfly, imo. Maybe you wanted to force the viewer to look at the head only. 7

Granite Totems

I can almost see the totem poles that could be formed out of these rock "shapes" (for lack of a better word). Contrast is good and I love the deep blue of the sky. It feels a bit oversharpened, however. 7

This is amazing. Love the sharp contrast that forces you to look at the boy's face with just a hint of his ear. The DOF that blurs his hand is also a nice touch. 10
