First Impression - the most important one:
Cool concept ... now if only I had thought of that.

Composition:
nicely done with the hand on the thirds line.

Subject:
meets the challenge well.

Technical (Colour and light):
I really like the colours in this shot ... the lighting also works well to compliment what you are trying to achieve.

To grow its vote?:
I think this shot did well ... I am not sure how to grow its vote.

Summary:
you did well ..this is a little out of the box .. so a good challenge for all.

I don't understand your choice of selective desat for this shot. It doesn't match your title. I don't see fields of strawberries. I see a pile of picked strawberries...

Very interesting subject but I would have cropped it more to get rid of the foliage on the left. I'd also have cloned/cropped out the small portion of the window at the top. IMNSHO, this would give you a much more powerful graphic image.
