Pinkby lynnmarieComment by Bear_Music: Love the BG here. Wish the leftmost petal were the sharpest instead of the half-hidden, rightmost one... |

Western Salsifyby lynnmarieComment by BlueZamia: Nice red-brown color in the foreground.(I'm running out of original useful comments. I like the photo.)
It's nice to see 3 different stages of the life cycle in one shot. I would love to see the actual flower. I don't think it grabs my attention when in bloom, then when the seed pods show up I always wonder what it WAS. Message edited by author 2007-07-11 20:33:34. |

Western Salsifyby lynnmarieComment by pixelpig: I was also wondering what this often-seen macro looked like in real life. Thanks! I like this version very well. |

Kansas Summerby lynnmarieComment by JerseyGenie: Ahhh what a combination ... you know how to tug at my heartstrings: the beautiful flower, the awesome landscape, the lovely hay bales. All of my favorite things in one shot. I'd have given you a 10 in a challenge for this beauty. |

Fly on the Mountainby lynnmarieComment by JerseyGenie: Originally posted by Tuckersmom: Now that is one gorgeous flower perfectly captured. LOVE IT. The green is such a nice soothing green and the white just pops. Detail is great and the fly is a nice touch (although I'm not much of a bug person). Only one thing I would change and this is really picky, I know, would be to remove that little piece of debris on that one leaf on the right side. |
I agree with everything except removing the debris ... hey, that's nature. Love it as it is. This is an absolutely fantastic shot. Beautiful!!!! |
