Muskoka Chairsby LanndonKaneComment by CNovack: Sam woke early to set up his gifts, brew the morning coffee and make the omelettes. Juliet was still asleep and he took care not to wake her. Sam took a glance out the cabin window. He had purchased the chairs a two days ago and had to keep them hidden until today. One straight backed for him, the fan support for her; they were the perfect shade of red that she loved.
He hadn't truly realized how difficult it would be to carry them out to the dock and not make a sound. Sam wasn't getting any younger and the weight of the chairs reminded him of that. This morning would mark their 40 years of marriage. Sam reached into his pocket to make sure the little black box was there. He hadn't given her anything expensive in a long time. Juliet had simply told him that sharing a simple & well-cooked meal and another year with him was quite enough. It had been a rough two years battling the cancer but he was always at her side whenever she needed.
Together they would sit this morning to watch the sun rise. Sam would present his wife with a ruby bracelet. Red - the color of passion...and a zest for life. |

I would suggest doing perspective correction on this. Either the side lamp posts should be straight, or you could lose them altogether. |
