Old spoonby frumoazniculComment: I just love this wonderful wooden spoon with its equally well used board. Colors are great, photography is, of course, superb. Um, that border. Maybe I'm the only one who feels that I am stopped from seeing the whole artwork when the border is superimposed. Anyhow, the image is lovely. Good luck. |

AAHH..Nutsby tfarrell23Comment: Nice closeup of those peanuts showing great texture. Love the lighting. Compositionally, I rather wish more of the dish showed and less black at the bottom. But, of course, that's just my opinion. The border? Well, that white line does distract a bit from the fine photo... |

Snowed Seawallsby ndouzComment: A good case for looking around to see the obvious and make it exciting. This exciting composition works well for the texture challenge. Bet you wish you held it out for the "Mundane" event. Works for both! |

Soft Touchby karmatComment: Interesting take on the challenge with good textures showing. Focus could have been just a touch sharper but all in all, it's a pleasant composition. |

Orangebladeby ChezComment: Nice take on interpreting the challenge. Quite good texture in the orange and the knife helps add interest to the composition. If it was mine, I'd probably crop a tad off the left to get that orange out of the center, but it's not mine, it's yours; nicely done! |

Whisk!by JMSComment: I very much lilke the way you interspersed color with the strong texture of the whisk. Good seeing and a good take on the challenge. |

Pureby AndelainComment: I don't know what the "pure" stands for, but the composition is lovely and certainly meets the challenge. (If it was mine, I'd probably hide the printing and just go with form and texture. But it isn't mine, it's yours and nicely done. |
