Got the idea and I see the texture, but the lighting needs improvement. The bright glare off of the one penny, while it may be intentional, just detracts IMO. Focus is good.

This is a photo I normally would not comment on, but I'm trying to comment more. I wouldn't normally comment because I just don't quite "get" the texture here. I mean, any photo will have some texture, but this doesn't really emphasize that to me. I'm not sure what's going on in the photo - a performance of some kind? Looks like the next person waiting in the wings?

I keep looking at this one trying to figure out exactly what you have here. The background looks like material. Anyway, the focus is on the background and the "rose" is out of focus. Texture is there.

Interesting composition. I wish the lighting had been better to capture the texture. It's there, but there's so little variance in the tones that it doesn't hold any interest to me.

I like the colors. The texture here doesn't look smooth, however. I'm not crazy about the composition. I'm not sure how I would do it differently, but it just appears kind of plunked down on the table and shot. There is texture, I just don't think it goes with the title.
