What a composition!!! Excellent. The only thing that puts me off is the sharpening - or rather the over sharpening. I hate halos! But this is a brilliant capture and I love this composition. One of my favourites for a ribbon. 10

I love thhe detail in this image. It's a clean neat image showing real action. Love the way he's looking ahead really focussed and determined. Something I really like about is the chin of the guy behind - looks like a shark attack. This is my favourite. 10

There's nothing in this image to indicate it's a team event. It's a swimmer for sure - but he could well be a morning swim. It could have been captured during a team event, but this image does not show it.
My point is, at least another swimmer taking over or looking on would have given the idea that there's a team here working together. Then you can argue that swimming can be a team sport - well, anything can be a team sport, but you have to show that it is.

For the title you have chosen to show that it's a team sport, I think perhaps the moment the other swimmer takes over would have made it more believable. I am not saying this is someone having a morning swim. My point is, there's no way to tell that this is a team event. Well, of course the title is there - but I think it's the photograph that should tell the story.

Would have nice to see some fielders or the ampire somewhere. Also, those pots in the background aren't every suited for Cricket.
It's a good idea and the execution is good too. It's the background and the kit he's wearing that doesn't give the idea of Cricket.
