I would love to see an explanation of how you were able to get such a great effect - was there a lot of cloning out of blurring that must have invariably happened as you raised/lowered your arms?

I can't believe you got such a clear, well lit picture from a non-SLR camera in the reflection of a hospital convex mirror, so major points for technical difficulty there!

Apart from the technical merits, you really captured an incredible moment and the look on your face makes for one of the best portraits of this challenge.

I like this shot a lot for its quirkiness but also the surprisingly good effect of the selective blur. It would think the blur would look artificial - but it really draws the focus to your eye and your expression in a pleasing way.
