fessing up in your title put me on your side right away. No one else came up with this creative of a way to incorporate new into their picture. I have to wonder if the girl in the background had any idea what was going on behind her. Normally a messy background like this would bother me, but for this shot it just seems to work!

I think this shot captures newness much more than all the other new this or new that submissions I have seen. A new day is so much more than a new this or a new that. The darkness gives a daring pre-dawn feel few photographers would dare to capture.
