another freak.jpgby ShecoyaComment: You rock - these are great!
I really like this one - it has that '50s scary movie poster look:
"Shecoya - The Revenge, Part 7"
Cool potatoes. |

keeping the guests busy.jpgby ShecoyaComment: So it looks like you're doing prisoner transport as well?!?
Curious as to what you told them, or was this the "Who wants the last fish?" response.

Staring at the sunby dahkotaComment: This is very nice! I like the exposure and tonal range, nice lighting. The crop is great. The focus seems a little soft on the far end of the flower - maybe a tad more dof, also there are spots on the far petals that are somewhat nit-picky distracting, but only moderately so. Maybe I'm being too picky. Either way very nice photo. |

Keine Lustby SJCarterComment: Very interesting photo. I don't know how it would have done in the What? challenge ...
Non-what challenge take on the photo:
Interesting. Interesting tones, interesting textures. Almost looks like on-board flash, and it works for this photo. The pp hues and tones give a surreal quality, you look rather ... metallic.
Without knowing this was inspired by a band my first thought was - "This would make a cool album cover"
(When I scanned the title I thought it said "Kleine" instead of "Keine", which doesn't change the title enough to warrant commenting on it, even if you speak german - but I'll comment on it anyway)
I like the expression coupled with the PP - almost a forlorn look.
Nice photos all - well done.

RR Bridge @ Indian Rockby SJCarterComment: Very interesting. Very busy. This is a photo one should take more than a passing look at.
The processing is very good, great tonal range, very good choice for sepia.
I don't know yet if I'm one of the people who'll rave about the photo, I'll have to examine it for a while. I have a "lost, no direction" feel, I want to know what the best thing to see is and I feel left to fend for myself.
Technically A+. Composition I'm still wishy-washy. I'll have to ponder it some more. |

James River from Indian Rockby SJCarterComment: Looks like a processing artifact on the skyline of the distance trees, like the mask wasn't quite covering everything.
Other than that - colors cool! I think the saturation level works well for this, a real feel for the colors.
I'm +/- on the dark area on the right. Probably too much to bring out detail w/o getting noise, looks like the sun was bright so probably not too much could have been done with that PP.
Overall I like the composition and crop. Very nice. |

All Wound Upby strickerblue21Comment: Great idea. Focus seems a tad off or soft for me. I think a white bg would have added some zip to the photo. Nicely done. |
