Polishedby cajayComment: Very nice exposure a crop on the violin. I think it would be better with the negative space cut reduced by about half. (7) |

The Ability to Discover New Worldsby jbsmithanaComment: Normally a shot this busy doesn't work for me but in this case it does. I find myself following all the different ropes trying to figure out where they go. Very nice composition and exposure. I'll start with an 8, may bump later after I have looked at everything. |

Watchingby PatrolComment: Your main subject is underexposed and therefore does not reveal much detail in the wood. Perhaps using a flash or shooting from a different angle would have helped. I do like the compoition and shot angle. (4) |

Leaving trailsby beatlebrisaComment: I marked this down for the following reasons
1. Cut off part of one duck
2. The highlights appear to be blown out

Toasted Ribbonby emilarabComment: Clever idea... here is why I marked it down
1. The light reflecting off the table is harsh and distracting
2. It would have been better had the ribbon been slightly smaller so the table could fill the entire back ground
3. Lighting in from the side instead of directly above and shooting from a lower angle would have brought out more texture |

windowsillby 42mmComment: I can't determine what you where trying to achieve here. There is no focal point and nothing appears to be in focus. |
