1_Januaryby DJWoodwardComment: Oh, this is post card material! The snow, and snow covered trees are beautiful. I also like how the fence leads my eye into the photograph. |

Corbett's Fallsby NeilComment: Very nice B&W shot! I agree that the fisherman adds an element of interest. Bassbone said he thought the fisherman looked too short/squished, but looking closely, I think he's standing calf deep in the stream. I don't often use vignettes, but can see that it is perfect for this photo. I like your choice of frames as well. |

Hole of Horcum - last lightby SaraRComment: I've looked at this photo about three or four times now. For some reason, I'm really drawn to it. It looks like such an inviting place, and as others have mentioned, I love the warmth. Just beautiful...I don't see a single thing that I would change. |

Jan-IMG_5629.jpgby heli_guyComment: This is a very pretty photograph. The ice, and the sun lit mountain top must have made this a real challenge to get properly exposed. Great job! |

Mrs. Cardinalby patio127Comment: Beautiful! I really like photos with falling snow in them. It's going to be 80 degrees here today, so little chance of seeing it in person. The focus on the Cardinal is great, and I think the female is still very colorful and pretty. |

DSCF4047.jpgby ikopanasComment: It looks you were going for the sky with this photo, so think you should have shown more sky, and less land. Landscape photos are often more interesting if the horizon doesn't cut the scene in half. Remember the rule of thirds. |

Lake Cuyamaca Wooden Bridgeby twmaxComment: Originally posted by bspurgeon: Very beautiful. Did this area burn a few years ago? Sure looks like it. |
The hills/peaks behind this area burned in the 2004 Cedar fire, so yes, a lot of the forest is missing. |
