Out of Proportionby L1Comment: I really love the image, however it feels a bit overcast and gray. You could probably brighten it by using the brightness and saturation controls. |

There's Always a Lightby pmichaudComment: A great illustration of the proportion. The image needs some work though. It feels muddy and flat. You might try using levels. I'm confident you can get it to look much better. It's still one of the best in the group for showing proportion. |

Jackson Mother Lodeby milleniummikeComment: Nice image illustrating a serendipitous moment that most people can relate to. I like the generally decrepit feel of the street and the shoe, making the bill that much more wondrous of a find. |

Serendipityby SirBiggsALotComment: This is the definition of serendipity. Being in the right place at the right time. Nice shot, strong compositionally. |

"Surprise from a Penny Jar"by tfarrell23Comment: Serendipity is a difficult concept to visualize. For me it means being at the right place, at the right time, and being lucky enough to capture something unique. Some of these entries are set up shots trying to illustrate that concept, and some record a serendipitous moment experienced by the photographer themselves. This is a particularly good example of the former. It's beautifuly composed and photographed. However, I'm not sure what's so serendipitous about a 1909 penny. Would this be more meaningful to a coin collecter? |
